Saddle Creek began in Omaha, NE as Lumberjack Records in 1993 as a friends collective to release each others' music because nobody else seemed to care about it. Towards the end of 1996, they decided to promote the records outside of Nebraska. Over the past decade the band names have changed, but all the same players are here, along with some new friends as well. The current roster includes Azure Ray, Bright Eyes, Cursive, The Faint, The Good Life, Mayday, Now It's Overhead, Son Ambulance, Sorry About Dresden, Tilly And The Wall, and more.
